It’s expensive but it made such an immediate difference in my skin. My favorite skincare serum had long been the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C serum but I recently switched to this Colleen Rothschild Vitamin C serum and so far I’m loving it.

I welcome all the exfoliation!! Getting off the dead skin also helps your skincare products penetrate your skin better so they can work their magic. I am 37 and live in Connecticut, so my skin is dry and aging. The razor helps sloth off the top later of skin. There are quite a few but exfoliation is the reason I started shaving my face in the first place.
What are the benefits of home dermaplaning? So dermaplaning has been great because I can shave down those pesky chin hairs that pop up without impacting my laser treatments. I am in the process of getting laser hair removal on my chin and upper lip at FaceIt Med Spa and if you’ve had laser hair removal you know you cannot pluck hairs during the process. I have shaved my face many times now and the peach fuzz still grows back very light and thin….as it always was. Part of the reason you shave yourself is to remove the peach fuzz so that makeup goes on more evenly. This is by far the most popular questions I’ve received when I mention I’ve shaved my face at home.
Frequently Asked Questions Does the hair grow back darker or thicker? They both do the trick but if you’re new to home dermaplaning I’d recommend starting with the Tinkle brand razors. The Tinkle brand exfoliating tool (teal razor on the right) has a bit more protection surrounding the blade so I have never mistakenly cut myself with that razor. I have cut my face twice using the Schick razors.
While this sounds good it can be dangerous for a newbie. The blue (not teal) Schick dermaplaning tool (above on the left) feels sharper to me.
